About Us

Each item that we sell is intentionally designed and carefully crafted either locally or internationally by skilled women.

By purchasing our goods, you’re directly helping to empower girls and women worldwide. We pay a fair wage to the craftswomen who sew, weave, and create our products and often seek out people who simply need some income. We celebrate the female spirit. Our goal is to create a positive ripple effect for women through every product we make and in every action we take.

How We Give

With net profits from sales, we are able to give in creative ways.

Our partner organization, Sisters Uganda, uplifts young women in an impoverished village with knowledge about their bodies and skills to manage their health. We continually contribute financially to fellow nonprofits who stand up for women’s rights and human’s rights, nationally and internationally.

Locally in Asheville, we sponsor gatherings for the Afghan Women’s Craft Collective and provide them with craft supplies and sewing machines. We’re involved in many grassroots projects, have donated period products to a shelter for unhomed women, cooked homemade meals for deserving families, and much more!

I was given the opportunity to sew masks for Sisters in Circles at the beginning of the pandemic. My own job was decimated by COVID19 and I was desperate to find ways to pay the bills. I was able to pay rent for a couple of months based solely on my sewing skills! When I became aware of the philanthropy aspect of Sisters in Circles; the amount of money donated to such a wide range of charities helping women, I knew I was a part of something special! I owe a bit of my sanity and a lot of my financial survival to this group!
