We are Sisters
in Circles

Our mission is to cultivate creative solutions that uplift women, girls and children locally and globally, so they can be equipped with knowledge, skills, and opportunities that will enable them, their family, and their communities to flourish.

The Rwenzori Support Center

Help us Re-Build the Rwenzori Support Center

The Rwenzori Support Center will serve as a vital hub for women, girls, children, and the entire community, providing education, skills training, and essential resources. Designed to foster empowerment and growth, it will be a safe and welcoming space where people can learn, connect, and build a stronger future together.

Upon completion of the renovation, it will house:

About Our Products

Each item that we sell is intentionally designed and carefully crafted either locally or internationally by skilled women.

By purchasing our goods, you’re directly helping to empower girls and women worldwide. We pay a fair wage to the craftswomen who sew, weave, and create our products. We seek out craftswomen who are marginalized both locally and globally. We celebrate the female spirit. Our goal is to create a positive ripple effect for women through every product we make and in every action we take.

How We Give

With net profits from sales, we are able to give in creative ways.

Our partner organization, Sisters Uganda, uplifts women in an impoverished village with knowledge about their bodies, skills to manage their health, and sewing training that provides income opportunities. We contribute financially to fellow nonprofits who stand up for women’s rights and human’s rights, nationally and internationally.

Locally in Asheville, we sponsor gatherings for the Afghan Women’s Craft Collective and have provided craft supplies and sewing machines. We’re involved in many grassroots projects, have donated period products to a shelter for unhomed women, cooked homemade meals for deserving families, and much more!

I was given the opportunity to sew masks for Sisters in Circles at the beginning of the pandemic. My own job was decimated by COVID19 and I was desperate to find ways to pay the bills. I was able to pay rent for a couple of months based solely on my sewing skills! When I became aware of the philanthropy aspect of Sisters in Circles; the amount of money donated to such a wide range of charities helping women, I knew I was a part of something special! I owe a bit of my sanity and a lot of my financial survival to this group!
