How We Give
Our goal is to amplify our impact by giving in various ways.
We design and produce handmade products, giving craftswomen meaningful, creative, part-time piecework that earns them part-time income.
Our “Sister” organization, Sisters Uganda, is funded by a portion of all sales and additional financial contributions from individuals. We offer financial support for their personal & menstrual hygiene programs, assistance in program planning, design, and evaluation, and offer seed money for their business initiatives on the ground in Uganda. We sponsor the Afghan Women’s Craft Collective in Asheville, which is helping build community and cultivate friendships among refugees. We especially focus on supporting girls, women, mental + physical + emotional health, LGBTQ and BIPOC, education, and social justice. Every sale directly impacts our local and international efforts and the vital work our nonprofit partners do.
